N.J. Man Killed In Essex County Double Shooting
Authorities are investigating a double shooting in Orange that killed a Morris County man and wounded an East Orange victim.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Authorities are investigating a double shooting that killed a Morris County man and wounded an East Orange victim on Tuesday.
According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the shooting took place around 10:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Main Street and North Day Street in Orange.
Authorities said that Wilmar Larose, 25, of Landing, was shot multiple times. Emergency responders transported him to University Hospital in Newark where he was pronounced dead at 10:53 p.m.

A second victim, a 24-year-old from East Orange, was also shot and sustained non-fatal injuries, police said. His name is not being released at this time, police added.
At this time no arrests have been made and an investigation is active and ongoing, authorities said.
