RE/Max Relocates to Historic Westwood Building
The real estate business moved to Westwood from Montvale, but they still focus on the whole Pascack Valley.
Slava Zborovsky, the owner of RE/Max Elite Associates, recently relocated the business from their former location in Montvale to open up in the newly-renovated Westwood office, which also happens to be the spot where Westwood was incorporated in 1894.
Westwood was an appealing home for the business because of the borough's central location and close-knit business community, Zborovsky said.
"It's everything a real estate office would want," he said.
Despite the move, Zborovsky and his 25 agents are still focusing on the same area, mostly the Pascack Valley and some other Bergen County properties, he said.
Real estate in the Pascack Valley is making a comeback after the crash a few years ago, according to Zborovsky. A property that's "priced right" will sell, on average, in 10 days, he said. Some have even sold in just one or two days.
"The inventory is slim and there's a huge demand for the Pascack Valley area," Zborovsky said.
The area is popular because of its convenience for commuters, good schools and wide range in housing size and price options, he said.
Going forward, Zborovsky said he planned to get involved with the community in Westwood and participate in charitable causes like hosting a coat drive. He also invited residents to stop by for coffee.
"We want to show the community we're in it," Zborovsky said. "We're looking to support the local organizations. We want to give back to the community."
