Elderly Woodbridge Man Remains in ICU After Crash
The Woodbridge Township resident was injured in a head-on collision on Amboy and Grove avenues Tuesday.

Woodbridge, NJ - An elderly man critically injured in a car accident Tuesday in Woodbridge is alive, but remains in the intensive care unit, Sgt. James Chessere confirmed to Patch.
The man, a Woodbridge Township resident, was injured in a head-on collision on Amboy and Grove avenues Tuesday. His injuries were so serious he had to be taken by helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick after the crash. The other driver, a Middlesex County woman, was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital and was released.
The man was driving south toward Perth Amboy and the woman was traveling north toward Rahway when their two cars collided head-on, Sgt. James Chessere told MyCentralJersey. One of the drivers crossed over the double yellow line, he said.
