Warehouse Fire in Woodbridge Wednesday Morning
Black smoke from the "sizeable" fire can be seen as far away as Perth Amboy, a spokesman said. The fire has now spread to the roof.

Woodbridge, NJ - Woodbridge firefighters are currently battling a "significant" fire in a recycling warehouse, and thick black smoke from the blaze can be seen as far away as Perth Amboy, township spokesman John Hagerty told Patch.
The fire is giving off a lot of thick, black smoke, he said.
The fire is in the warehouse of a recycling/manufacturing facility, Recycling Technology Development, Inc., at 75 Crows Mills Road.

It is thought to have started in the fertilizer boiler room of the warehouse. As of 10:45 a.m. flames had spread to the roof of the warehouse. However, Woodbridge firefighters do have the fire under control at this time, he said.
The fire started at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in an industrial section of town. The warehouse was evacuated and there are no reported injuries.
