The got a big donation from a local bank to start the new year.
Ambulance Corps line officers were on hand Thursday morning to accept the ceremonial check from Branch Manager Karen Mullane and one of the bank's Business Development Board members, Mark Borst.
"[Atlantic Stewardship Bank is a] great local bank giving back to the community of Wyckoff in big ways," said Wyckoff Ambulance Corps Treasurer Brian Cole.
The tithing program gives 10 percent of its annual profits to christian and local civic organizations, according to Mullane.
"This year we gave a total of $398,000," Mullane said.
The bank has also donated to the , , and and , among many others.
To date, more than $7.7 million has been donated.
"The Wyckoff Volunteer Ambulance Corps is extremely thankful for the generous donation by Atlantic Stewardship Bank," Cole said. "The support and donations from residents and businesses like ASB play an enormous role in our ability continue providing free emergency medical services to the Township."
