Man Injured In Massive Boat Fire

A total of four boats caught on fire behind a Long Island business on Tuesday.

BABYLON, NY - A man was injured during a massive fire that spread to four boats behind a Babylon business on Tuesday, according to Suffolk Police.

Officers responded to the blaze at the marina behind a business on 458 Fire Island Avenue at 2:15 p.m.

A man at the scene suffered burns and he was transported by the West Babylon Fire Department to Nassau University Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Members of the North Babylon Volunteer Fire Company were also at the scene. Firefighters were still at the scene as of 3:45 p.m.

The cause of the fire was not yet disclosed.
