Singer/songwriter and Katonah Native Lisa Brigantino Releases New Christmas Song.

Award-winning singer/songwriter and Katonah native Lisa Brigantino announces the official release of her holiday song “It’s Christmastime” on iTunes and other digital outlets. Although this is a new recording, “It’s Christmastime” was originally written when Lisa was a freshman at State University of New York, College at Fredonia. She wrote the song just after she had finished December finals and was packing to go home to Katonah, NY for the holidays. The song captures the essence of being away from home for the first time and longing to travel back to family and loved holiday traditions.

The song was written and performed by Brigantino, and co-produced with her husband, Thomas Millioto, who also recorded, mixed and mastered the single in their Brooklyn studio.

Lisa Brigantino is an engaging performer whose eclectic approach to songwriting spanning groove, genre and topic garnered her 7th place on Indie-Music.com’s Top 25 Awards of 2012. A trained composer with a Master of Music in music composition and music theory from SUNY Fredonia, Lisa also composes music for TV, film, theatre, dance and more.

Lisa was an original member of Lez Zeppelin, the world’s first all-girl Led Zeppelin tribute band and toured internationally with the band for a number of years playing bass, mandolin and keyboards. She left the band in 2009 to get back to focusing on her original music.
