Municipal officials from the Village of Tuckahoe will join principals of Roseland, a subsidiary of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (NYSE: CLI), Glenco Group, and Mirado Properties, to break ground Thursday morning on a new 108-unit luxury rental building that will rise in the heart of the village’s downtown (150 Main St.). Led by Mayor Steve Ecklond, the officials will drive ceremonial shovels into the ground to officially commence construction on the first project of its kind for Tuckahoe.
The four-story building will include 61 one-bedroom units, 47 two-bedroom units, and 3,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space. A 169-space underground parking garage will be constructed as part of the project, as well as 19 surface parking spaces. Residents of the building will enjoy amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, club room, an expansive outdoor terrace with gardens, a water sculpture, a freestanding stone fireplace pit and seating area, and an outdoor kitchen for private entertaining. The building will be located just a three-block walk from the Metro-North train depot, with service to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. The project reflects the Mack-Cali/Roseland commitment to developing multi-family communities that offer an amenity-rich environment and luxury finishes and appointments in transit-oriented locations.
