1-Month-Old Baby Found Dead Inside NYC Apartment

BROOKLYN, NY — A 1-month-old baby boy was found dead inside a Brooklyn apartment, police said on Sunday.

Officers found were called to an 209 Veronica Pl. to perform a wellness check around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Police found a 1-month-old baby boy unconscious and unresponsive inside an apartment. The baby was pronounced dead at the scene.

The city's medical examiner will determine the official cause of death. The baby's identity has not been released yet.

As of Sunday evening, no arrests have been made yet. An investigation remains ongoing.
