Woman Arrested After 1-Month-Old Baby Found Dead In NYC Home

Officers had been called to the scene to perform a wellness check.

BROOKLYN, NY— A woman was arrested after a baby boy was found dead inside a Brooklyn home over the weekend, police said on Monday.

Gynae Kendall has been charged with concealment of a human corpse. Police found the body of 1-month-old Adonnys Kendall inside 209 Veronica Pl. on Saturday around 7:30 p.m. The baby was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers had been called to the scene to perform a wellness check. The city's medical examiner will determine the official cause of death.
