Police Blotter: Teen Arrested For Aiming BB Gun Out Window

The following arrest information was supplied by the 76th Precinct.

Three Males Arrested and Charged With Criminal Possession of a Weapon

– A man was arrested in front of 88 Visitation Place last Friday, March 1 at 3:25 p.m., according to police. The report states that an individual was observed firing a BB gun out of a third floor apartment window by two court officers walking on the sidewalk. At 4:03 p.m., Shivar Spencer, 19, was charged with criminal use of a firearm, possession of a weapon, assault against police, and reckless endangerment.

– Police reported an arrest at 426 Baltic Street on Friday, March 1 at 11:05 p.m. An officer observed a man displaying a firearm, cops said. The suspect fled on foot and was apprehended at the intersection of Baltic and Bond Streets. The individual attempted to throw away an imitation pistol, but after a quick canvass of the area by police it was recovered. A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested at 11:15 p.m., cops said.

– Forty eight-year-old Robert James was arrested at 134 Douglass Street, when he was found by police to be in possession of a gravity knife, cops said. Upon inquiry, it was also discovered that James had an open warrant. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.

Shifty Passenger Takes Taxi Driver For a Free Ride

A man fled a taxicab without paying for it over the weekend, cops said. On Saturday, March 2, at 8:26 p.m., a yellow taxicab picked up an individual along Avenue B in Manhattan and drove him to a destination on the 300 block of Court Street. Upon arrival, the passenger walked away without paying his $25 fare, cops said. “You want your money? Come out of your car and get me,” the driver alleges the passenger called back to him. Cops canvassed the area immediately after arriving on the scene, but were unable to find the man described. The victim is a male, 34. Wanted is a male, white, 187 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, and wearing blue jeans with a light grey jacket.

Assault and Robbery at Corner of Carroll Park

At the corner of Carroll and Smith Streets, on Friday, March 1 at 11:27 p.m., a woman, 29, filed a complaint that her boyfriend struck her in the face and stole her credit card. Wanted is black male, 23, named Hanson Jones, police said.
