Valentine's Day Menus At All Your Favorite Restaurants

From black pepper ricotta dumplings to linguini neri con aragosta, cupid is aiming his arrow straight at your stomach this Valentine's Day. Practically every restaurant in Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill will be serving up something festive for the occasion.

Here are a few of the local highlights.

Seersucker - Comfort her with oysters coated in a crispy cornmeal crust, one of four courses (plus an amuse and biscuits) for $75 or precisely paired with wines for each course for an additional $45. Chef Rob Newton created the desserts in tribute to his firlfriend and partner in the restaurant, Kerry Diamond. "Kerry loves red velvet cake and any dessert with blood orange," a representative for the restaurant tells us. "She has a wicked sweet tooth and Rob doesn't. If it were up to him, there might not even be dessert on the menu!"

La Vara - Typically a first come, first served establishment, La Vara will be accepting reservations for two on this night only to feast upon a five-course menu inspired by amor. For reservations, e-mail reservations@txikitonyc.com

Marco Polo - The restaurant will take on a Venice theme for Valentine's Day, with chef/owner Marco Chirico paying homage to the city with a special a la carte menu. Standouts include "velvety chickpea polenta festooned with fresh artichokes stuffed with goat cheese and a smattering of fried fig seeds, or risotto with strawberries in champagne sauce." Bonus: Staff will be dressed as gondolieri!

Bacchus - "Come enjoy a romantic Valentine's Day celebration with our special aphrodisiac infused $55 4-course menu including a complimentary glass of Champagne," writes the French restaurant on OpenTable. Sounds like a great value.

Pane e Vino - This beloved Italian restaurant is serving a $45 prix fixe that will include a glass of Prosecco. Diners can choose from a mixed seafood salad or antipasto Italiano to start, Halibut, Linguini Neri con Aragosta or Filet Mignon for an entree, and "gelato valentine" for dessert. Bene!
