Mt. Kisco Police Blotter: Man Accused of Assaulting Cops in Court

Man Accused of Fighting Cops at Court Date for Previous Arrest

On March 29, a 31-year-old Port Chester man was arrested and charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. He was accused of violating an order of protection placed in favor of his girlfriend, a 29-year-old Mount Kisco woman. Police were notified by a parole officer that he may have been approaching her.

After initially being brought before a judge, he was released on his own recognizance. However, that same night he had a court appearance for that case and a judge changed the terms to $5,000 bail. When police officers were preparing to take him into custody, the man was alleged to have gotten into a fight. Two officers reported wrist injuries, and the man was arrested again. He was charged with two felony counts of assault and a misdemeanor count of obstructing governmental administration.

Boyfriend and Girlfriend in Dispute Over Vehicle Damage

On March at about 1:55 p.m., a guy reported to police that his girlfriend damaged his vehicle, which was parked in the Blackeby Lot. She disputed the situation in a report taken later that day. A person was arrested in connection with the matter, although it is not clear whom because it involves someone who is a juvenile.

Marijuana Arrest

On March 24, at about 8:23 p.m., 21-year-old Bedford Hills man was pulled over by police at Wallace Drive for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign. During the stop, it is alleged that police discovered he was unlicensed and possessed marijuana. He was charged with driving without a license, unlawful possession of marijuana - unlawful means that it's a violation but not a crime - and with a traffic infraction regarding the stop sign.

Suspended Registration Arrests

On March 26, at about 2:58 p.m., A 51-year-old Armonk man was stopped along South Moger Avenue. He was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended registration.

In another such incident, on March 29 at about 3:52 p.m., a 51-year-old Carmel woman was stopped and charged with the same offense.
