COMMACK, NY - A 19-year-old woman escaped with minor injuries Saturday afternoon after her car struck a tree, overturned and burst into flames in Commack.

Emergency responders from the Commack Fire Department, Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and Suffolk Police responded to the crash at about 12:20 p.m. on Verleye Avenue near Lefferts Avenue.
