Man Killed In Commack Crash Involving Tractor-Trailer
The car was heading north when it veered into the southbound lanes of Commack Road crashing into the tractor-trailer.

COMMACK, NY - A man was killed in a crash involving a tractor trailer in Commack on Monday morning, Suffolk Police confirmed.
A man was driving a 2002 Subaru Impreza northbound on Commack Road, 300 feet north of Vanderbilt Motor Parkway, when the car veered into the southbound lanes and struck the rear wheels of a southbound tractor trailer at 3:25 a.m.
The driver of the Subaru was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

The man’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The male driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
The Subaru was impounded for a safety check.
