Dad Says Pistol License was Pulled After Son Made Water Gun Threat 

A Commack father is pursuing legal action after his pistol license was suspended when his 10-year-old son allegedly talked about using a water gun and other toy guns on classmates who had picked on his friends in school.

Suffolk County police arrested three people and issued approximately 50 summonses during a traffic enforcement effort Thursday on Route 454.

Legendary quarterback Dan Marino stopped by the Commack Fire Department Wednesday to meet local volunteers after celebrating the grand opening of Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, of which he is a partner.

Along with the former NFL quarterback was another Hall of Fame athlete - Clark Gillies, who played for the New York Islanders during their four-year-run as Stanley Cup champions.

Dan Marino Makes Touchdown in Commack

Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino paid a visit to the grand opening of Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Commack Wednesday. The proceeds from the day’s sales will go toward the Dan Marino Foundation, which supports autism causes. 

Former Commack Baseball Star 'On Fire'

Daniel Paccione collected three more hits Wednesday for the Farmingdale State baseball team.

After a season that began with the Commack junior infielder on the bench, Paccione has emerged as one of the hottest hitters in the nation.
