Niche.com has ranked private high schools across the country and 12 Long Island schools made the list of the top 100 in New York.

The top of the list is dominated by schools located in New York City. The No. 1 ranked private high school in the state is the Collegiate School in Manhattan. The first Long Island school on the list is The Stony Brook School.
