Laura Sisco -YMCA EH RECenter this year's recipient YMCA 2012 Hero
Laura has been volunteering and working at the YMCA since the summer of 2002. She started off as a lifeguard and then decided to pursue a career working closer with children and sharing her passion of dance. She is currently a full time employee as the Cultural Arts, Vacation Camp and Summer Arts Camp Coordinator, as well as a dance and fitness instructor. Laura shares the values of the YMCA with the community and continues to help build the Cultural Arts department and the Summer Day Camp. Laura has helped to expand the dance program to Montauk. This is more than a job to Laura, she has formed relationships with many of the children and serves as a role model for them. We are proud of Laura Sisco and choose her as one of the YMCA EH RECenter 2012 heroes. A celebration will be held on Sunday, Oct 14th 5:30-8:00pm at Gurneys.
