New York City Man Accused of Raping 20-Year-Old Woman
A New York City man was arrested Tuesday on a rape charge after police said they were called to a disturbance at his East Hampton house.

East Hampton Town Police Detective Lt. Chris Anderson said Jason Lee, 37, stands charged with first-degree rape, a felony. A 20-year-old woman accused him of forcing her to have sex with him at his house on Clover Leaf Lane.

Lee retained Sag Harbor attorney Edward Burke Jr. who said, "My client is adamant that this did not occur."

Anderson said the victim, whose identity is protected under State law, reported the rape soon after.

The pair met earlier that evening. "He became acquainted her, but they did not have a longterm relationship, no," Anderson said.

Lee was arraigned in East Hampton Town Justice Court on Wednesday, and posted $20,000 bail.

Anderson said the case remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call detectives at 631-537-6863.
