Construction at the former Crystalbrook property on East Meadow Avenue is moving forward as planned, according to Saeed Ahmed, the owner of Meadow Commons, LLC.
"It's going to be seven retail stores," Ahmed said. "There will not be any apartments."

After a lengthy battle between the former owners of Friendly Farms, Cornell Cooperative Extension's bid was officially accepted by Nassau County.
