Woodland Named “Mix It Up” Model School

has once again been recognized as a “Mix It Up Model School” for its exemplary efforts to foster respect and understanding among students and throughout the entire school during the 2011-2012 school year.

Woodland Middle School is one of 77 schools from across the country receiving the honor.

Woodland’s Mix It Up Day, held on April 3, was a huge success. Activities were planned by the school’s SEL (Social Emotional Learning) Committee to revolve around the zodiac, during which students were seated according to their zodiac signs during lunchtime.
