UPDATE: Republic Airport Bomb Threat Unfounded: Reports

The airport received a call of a bomb threat on Wednesday afternoon.

FARMINGDALE, NY - A bomb threat called into the Republic Airport in East Farmingdale on Wednesday afternoon was unfounded and operations were not interrupted, according to a report in Newsday.

Suffolk Police have confirmed that a bomb threat was called in to the airport at about 12:20 p.m.

The airport has been evacuated after the call came in.
