Victim was walking in vicinity of Rockaway Turnpike and Pearsall Avenue.

Teen Attacked by 3 Men in Lawrence, Cops Say

Three men on Wednesday attacked and robbed a 14-year-old boy in Lawrence, police said.

At 4:20 p.m., the teen was walking in the vicinity of Rockaway Turnpike and Pearsall Avenue when three male subjects approached him, according to police. The first subject bumped into the victim and demanded his phone. As the teen tried to run, the subject grabbed him, knocking his cell phone to the ground and causing it to shatter.

Subject one then punched the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground, police said. Subject two proceeded to kick the victim in the abdomen and ribs. The victim saw the third subject reach for something in his pants pocket, which he thought may be a weapon.

The victim was then able to get up and flee the scene. The subjects fled in an unknown direction. The victim was treated by a Nassau EMT for minor injuries.

The first subject is described as a black male, 5 foot 6 inches, 140 pounds, dark wavy hair, dark complexion and wearing a white tee shirt with an American Eagle logo on front and black and white sneakers.

Subject two is described as a light skinned black male, 5 foot 4 inches, 120 pounds and wearing green, black and white Jordan sneakers.

Subject three is a black male, 5 foot 6 inches, 140 pounds, with short dark hair and dark skin.
