City Councilman Koslowitz bringing van to Forest Hills this weekend.

Mobile Mammography Van Coming to Forest Hills

City Councilwoman Karen Koslowitz, D-Forest Hills, will bring the Care Clinic mobile mammography van to Forest Hills on Sunday, Dec. 9.

Cancer screenings and breast exams will be available at no cost to women in the area ages 40 and older, provided they make an appointment.

The van will be parked in front of the Forest Hills Jewish Center, 106-06 Queens Blvd., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

To make an appointment, call Jason Weinstein at 718-544-8800 or e-mail  Jweinstein@council.nyc.gov.

The councilwoman urges all elligible residents to get a screening — early detection can save lives.
