Three brazen bandits stole a man’s cellphone while he was stopped in traffic on April 11.

The 35-year-old victim told cops that he was in his car at Greene Avenue and Fulton Street at around 7 p.m. when the trio approached and opened his car door. One of the punks menaced him with a cane while the other threatened to punch him in the face. A struggle ensued over the cellphone, but the thieves ended up ripping it from the owner’s hands and running away. A half-hour later Officer Stephen Leuzze arrested two 17-year-old suspects.

Seven on One

Seven teenagers robbed a student on April 11.

The 14-year-old victim told cops that the punks approached at S. Elliot Place and Atlantic Avenue at around 4:50 p.m. That’s when one of them said, “Run your pockets, or I’ll punch you in the face.” The victim complied and handed over his bag and wallet. Roughly an hour later Officer Yuan Newton arrested all seven suspects.

Elevator Attack

A punk stole a man’s cash as he got on an elevator at the Atlantic Terminal houses on April 12.

The 36-year-old victim said he was getting in an elevator at the towers on Carlton Avenue at Atlantic Avenue at around 1:30 a.m. when the perp approached and asked him for money. When the victim refused the suspect grabbed him, scratching his forearm and stole $11. The next day Officer Anthony Pagnotta arrested the suspect, along with an accomplice.

Scissor Attack

A woman stabbed another lady in the hip with a pair of scissors at a homeless shelter on Tillary Street on April 11.

The 25-year-old victim called the cops to the shelter between Prince and Navy streets at around 11 p.m. Officer Basil Omisanya arrested a 33-year-old suspect, and the victim was taken to Brooklyn Hospital.

Window Smasher

A thief smashed the window of a car parked on Hall Street and stole a GPS system on April 12.

The driver of the car told cops he had left the car between Park and Myrtle avenues at around 9:45 a.m. When he returned 45 minutes later the front passenger window was shattered and he was missing the navigation system.

Water Meter Bandit

A thief stole a water meter from a Classon Avenue construction site on April 1.

A worker at the site between Quincy Street and Lexington Avenue said he had last seen it three days prior at around 8 a.m.

More Trouble at Atlantic Terminal

At least three more incidents went down at the Atlantic Terminal Mall this week. Here’s a rundown.

  • Three thieves — apparently with the help of an inside man — stole an assortment of Nintendo equipment on April 12. Surveillance cameras captured the trio opening a security container using a key at the new store on Atlantic Avenue at around 7 p.m. They escaped with a bunch of Nintendo DS equipment valued at $2,665.
  • A thief stole a woman’s wallet while she was shopping at Daffy’s on April 11. The victim told cops the thief must have made his move at around 8 p.m. He got an assortment of credit cards and IDs.
  • A thief stole a woman’s bag while she ate at Applebee’s on April 14. The 35-year-old victim told cops she had placed her bag under her table at around 5:30 p.m. When she finished eating an hour later the bag, containing an assortment of IDs, credit cards and $69, was missing.

Cell Swipe

A bandit snatched a kid’s cellphone on April 13.

The 13-year-old victim told cops he was standing outside of a pizzeria at Adelphi Street and DeKalb Avenue at around 4 p.m. when the creep made his move and ran off.

Pratt Purse Swipe

A thieving Pratt student stole a girl’s purse on April 13, but ended up in handcuffs.

The 19-year-old victim told cops she had accidentally left her bag at a pizzeria on Willoughby Avenue between Hall Street and Classon Avenue at around 7:30 p.m. When she returned, her bag was gone. The bozo 18-year-old criminal then was caught on camera using the victim’s credit card at a nearby store in a failed attempt to buy beer and cigarettes. Two days later, he was arrested by Officer Rene Orrego.

Bandit on the B38

A thief snatched teen’s iPhone out of her hand while they rode the B38 on April 14.

The 18-year-old victim told cops the thief reached in through the back entrance to the bus when it had stopped on Flatbush Avenue between DeKalb Avenue and Fulton Street at around 11:15 p.m.

Bump and Swipe

A thief stole a woman’s iPhone and $20 using the old “bump and swipe” technique at at on April 17.

The 27-year-old victim told cops she was waiting in line at the stylish bar on Greene Avenue near Fulton Street at around 12:30 p.m. when the stranger bumped her and stole her stuff.

Car Vanished

A thief stole a Toyota Sequoia parked on S. Oxford Street on April 16.

The owner of the auto told cops she had seen it parked between DeKalb and Lafayette Avenue at around 11 a.m. About five hours later it was gone.
