VIDEO: Car Erupts In Flames Near Dekalb Avenue Subway Station
FDNY responded to a car fire Wednesday morning on Flatbush Avenue, officials said.

FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — Despite a huge cloud of smoke near the Dekalb Avenue subway station Wednesday morning, a car fire that erupted on Flatbush Avenue was put out with no injuries, FDNY officials said.
Firefighters were called to 295 Flatbush Avenue Extension around 8:19 a.m. for a report that a car was on fire, FDNY said. Two companies went to the scene and were able to put out the fire in just over a half an hour.
There were no injuries from the fire and it was put out "without incident," an FDNY official said. No cause was known yet.
