Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club members Kimberly V. and Giovanni C. were named the Summer Youth of the Month

Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club members Kimberly V. and Giovanni C. were named the Summer Youth of the Month for their outstanding conduct and consideration of others during the entirety of the Club’s six week “An American Road Trip” program.

Kimberly, 9, loves to dance and really enjoyed learning about and participating in the many activities that revolved around the 50 states of America and how each state has its own unique quality. She believes she was chosen the Junior Youth of the Month because of her kind attitude and generosity towards others. “I am a kind person and I am never mean to anyone,” said Kimberly, who just started the fourth grade at Connolly Elementary School.

Giovanni, 12, is in the sixth grade at Robert M. Finley Middle School. He is also a kind a considerate youth who follows the rules and respects the Group Leaders. Giovanni enjoys soccer and hopes to become a soccer player when he grows up. He also enjoys science, his favorite subject in school and participating in the Club’s STEM program. Giovanni really enjoyed the Summer program and is very proud to be named the Senior Youth of the Month.
