Crime Report: Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs

Only a few arrests were made by Suffolk County's Second Precinct police officers between Sept. 28 and Oct. 3; and there were a handful of "incidents."

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Arrests in 11746 between Sept. 28 and Oct. 3:

Landon Kromhout from Dix Hills was arrested in Bay Shore for petit larceny on 10/3.

Daniel Ryan Jr. from Dix Hills was arrested in Huntington for criminal contempt in the first degree for physical contact on 9/28.

Gregory Mussmacher from Commack was arrested in Dix Hills for operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs on 9/28.

Dominique Dreux from New York was arrested in Dix Hills for harassment in the second degree on 9/28.

Andre Spiers from Huntington was arrested in Dix Hills for aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the third degree on 9/28.

Incidents in Dix Hills from Sept. 27 through Sept. 30:

On Sept. 30:

At 10:30 p.m. on Cedar Crest Drive in Dix Hills, grand larceny 4 was reported, as items from a vehicle were reported missing.

Also at 10:30 p.m., petit larceny was reported on Kinsella Street in Dix Hills as items from another vehicle were reported missing.

On Sept. 28:

At 4:30 p.m. a female resident was throwing objects at a complainant on Commack Road in Dix Hills.

On Sept. 27:

At 5:56 p.m. harassment was charged on Seward Drive in Dix Hills, when a husband refused to move his car out of the driveway and was blocking his wife in.
