Two People Reported Missing in Harlem: Police

Two people were reported missing in Harlem late last week.

HARLEM, NY — Police are searching for two people reported missing within two days in Harlem.

Yuridia Merino, 32, was reported missing from her East Harlem home on Thursday, Jan 12, police told Patch. She was last seen leaving her home on East 105th Street around 9 a.m., police said. Police described Merino as standing 4-foot-11 and weighing around 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Merino was wearing a black hooded jacket when she went missing, police said.


Morgan Thomas, 19, was reported missing Friday, Jan. 13. Thomas was last seen leaving his South Harlem residence on Lenox Avenue around 10:30 p.m., police said. Police described Thomas as standing 5-foot-10 and weighing around 185 pounds. Thomas has a medium build, black hair and brown eyes, police said. He was last seen wearing red checkered pajama pants, red and blue hooded sweat shirt and he may be barefoot, police told Patch.
