The Matsuri is an opportunity for those shy members of the Japanese community with limited English language ability to be more actively involved with the local community of Westchester by sharing their culture through Japanese food, performances, vendor booths, workshops, games, and raffles. The festival’s theme is hanami, the Japanese tradition of cherry-blossom viewing, and we invite anyone interested to enjoy it with us.
The profit will go to the Harrison Recreation Department, Westchester County and also victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Stage Performances:Keio Academy of New York (Brass Band Club / Brass Band, ZION / Hip Hop), Japanese Singers, Bands, Dancers, Magician, and more.
