All three westbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway are closed in Old Westbury after a truck burst into flames Monday morning, officials say.

According to authorities, the truck fire occurred near Exit 40 at around 11:30 a.m.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and can expect delays.
