No rest for the weary shoveler. Our last snowstorm may have been just a day ago, but folks in Larchmont and Mamaroneck could see another two to four inches by Wednesday morning.
And that's not the end of it.
The National Weather Service is calling for the snow to mix with sleet after 3 a.m. Feb. 5, changing to freezing rain and rain during the day Wednesday—with a chance of more snow Wednesday night.
Plus, there's a chance of snow on Sunday.
The agency has issued a
winter storm warning in effect from midnight to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
"A winter storm warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring," it warns. "Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must travel keep an extra flashlight, foot and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency."
