Massive Fire Breaks Out At Amityville Restaurant
Firefighters battled the fire for over 4 hours early Tuesday. One minor injury was reported.
AMITYVILLE, NY - A total of 11 fire departments responded to a massive fire that broke out at an Amityville restaurant early Tuesday.
The Amityville Fire Department responded to a fire at the Bulldog Grille on 292 Merrick Road at about 1:30 a.m.
The blaze had started on the second floor of the restaurant.

The Copiague, North Amityville, North Lindenhurst, Lindenhurst, West Babylon, Massapequa, Seaford, Farmingdale, East Farmingdale and South Farmingdale Fire Departments all responded to the scene.

Crews were on scene for 4 and half hours due to the age of building and additions made to the building over the years.
One minor injury was reported. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
