A Lindenhurst Youth Center alumnus has dedicated his song Roses to victims of Hurricane Sandy in Lindenhurst and the South Shore.

Sean Werner, aka Prophet, said in his video posted on YouTube here, "Myself and Fro Man Productions would like to dedicate this video to all of the victims of Hurricane Sandy. I wrote Roses about finding the good in a bad situation. So I hope this can help anyone in need."

He also wrote, "We hope all will go back to normal soon, and those who lost everything will get there normal lives back. Special thanks to Taco Bell who was out there the day of this shoot giving out free tacos to all those in need [in Lindenhurst]. Great work."

LYC Director Kathie Skopek wrote here on Lindenhurst Patch, "Lindenhurst Youth Center members are thanking 'Prophet' for his support of the Center, and wishing him well in his endeavor to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Sandy."

Werner, aka Prophet, and several other LYC alumni will be taking part in the Lindenhurst Hurricane Relief Concert benefitting Sandy victims.

The concert is set for this Saturday, December 1, at 8 p.m. at Ollie's Point/Revolution in Amityville. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
