Man Found Unresponsive Off Lido Beach, Dies: Nassau Police

The victim has not been identified and the investigation is ongoing, police say.

LIDO BEACH, NY — An responsive man was discovered in the water at Lido Beach on Sunday afternoon, Nassau police said.

Marine Bureau officers brought the victim to the Jones Beach Coast Guard station where he was pronounced dead by a Bay Constable medic, detectives said.

The victim was not identified.
