No. 58 in the Patch series, “,” is to make plans to take the kids to meet Santa Claus this weekend.

You know the holidays are here when Lynbrook starts the line-up of events for the families in the community to enjoy.

will arrive with help from the Lynbrook Fire Department on the fire truck to greet all the children, always a highlight of the holiday season. The event kicks off the holiday season on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 8:30 a.m. in the Earle Avenue Parking Field #8. Sponsored by the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce.

Watching the children’s faces light up when they see him coming, knowing that Christmas is coming soon is definitely something you won’t want to miss.

After Santa arrives he will meet with all the children, hear their wishes and pose for those pictures to treasure for years to come!

When Santa is finished meeting all of the children, at 10:00 a.m., he will then walk them all over to the to enjoy a , Puss in Boots.

Of note, there are still some tickets available if you would like to have on December 10, at the Knights of Columbus. The seating’s still available are the 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. times.

Check back next week to find out when the next fun family holiday event will be happening here in Lynbrook and check back for video from the event next week. In the meantime, have a safe, happy and healthy Thanksgiving!
