Long Island Woman Starts Petition to Have Blue Line Painted in Streets to Support Law Enforcement

The petition has received over 1,000 signatures.

A Massapequa woman recently started an online petition to have a blue line painted down the center of the streets in order to show support for local law enforcement.

The petition started on Change.org was started by local resident Dawn Kostakis and will be sent to the Nassau and Suffolk County executives.

The petition asks local authorities to permanently paint a thin blue line down the center of the streets in parts of both counties.
