
Merrick Avenue Middle School Eigth Grader, Emily Glick, appearing on 42nd Street in the US Premiere of a brand new musical, Dream Street!
Dream Street, which comes straight from London, follows the story of a group of kids auditioning for a big time West End producer.
Emily auditioned for the musical in June and was then called back. Emily was thrilled to find out she had earned the role of Caroline, and a featured dancer a week later. Emily has danced competitively at Jennifer Napolitano School of Performing Arts, in Seaford, N.Y. “I love musical theater and tap, and hope to be on Broadway one day.”

Rehearsals will take place at Alvin Ailey Studios in New York City in August, prior to moving to the theater on 42ndStreet.
“I love performing and being on stage because it gives me a chance to explore different characters and learn more,” said the newly 13-year old. I also enjoy working with new people and learning how to become even better.”
