RED HOOK, NY — A massive fire Sunday night in Red Hook destroyed a single-family home and sent the owner and one firefight to the hospitable for evaluation. The fire, on Spencer Drive off of Route 9 in Upper Red Hook, began around 11:30 p.m.
The people living in the house were a father and daughter. They escaped, along with their dog, before firefighters arrived, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.
