77-Year-Old Long Island Woman Dies After Head-On Crash
BREAKING: The woman suffered an "apparent medical emergency" before veering into oncoming traffic Wednesday night, police say.

CORAM, NY – A 77-year-old woman died following a two-car head-on crash in Suffolk County Wednesday night, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, Frances Schlosser, of Medford, was driving a 2010 Chevy west on Middle Country Road, when she suffered an apparent medical emergency, veered into the eastbound lanes and struck a 2003 Acura east of Paul's Path Mooney Pond Road at about 10:30 p.m.
Schlosser was transported to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson, where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the Acura, 27-year-old Khadiza Kobra, of Coram, suffered minor injuries in the crash and was treated and released from the hospital, police said.

Both cars were impounded for safety checks. The investigation is continuing.
