Raffle sales from the sweepstakes are going toward People to People, Rockland's largest food pantry. $10 tickets can be purchased at Leader Carpet in Nanuet as well as at the block party

Paul Marks, owner of Leader Carpet in Nanuet, is giving away a and the sales from the $10 raffles will be donated toPeople to People, Rockland’s largest food pantry.

The makeover includes $10,000 worth of flooring and the other $10,000 secured HGTV star Taniya Nayak to come and design and oversee the whole project. 

The sweepstakes runs until Oct. 26. Although raffles can be purchased at Leader Carpet or on their  website, Marks is also hitting the streets to sell the raffles. 

Marks is hosting a block party at Leader Carpet from 1 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13 with a rain date on Oct. 14.

"The Mighty Spectrum Band will be performing, and several local businesses are donating the food and their time," said Marks.

There will also be face painting for kids, food from Burning Desire Catering, American Burrito and Cacciatori Pizza. Admission is free.

“It's a win-win  for everyone involved and we couldn't be happier to be bringing this fundraiser into Rockland County,” said Marks.
