Mary Terribile, Longtime Crossing Guard
Mary E. Terribile of New City, NY passed away on July 12th at the age of 83.

She was born on August 7, 1930 in Chicago, IL to William and Catherine Collich.

For over 25 years, Mary worked for the Clarkstown Police Department where she served as a crossing guard for Laurel Plains Elementary School in New City. She also worked for OTB.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Michael P. Terribile; her six sons, Michael (Debbie), William (Angela), Vincent (Cindy), George (Cathie), Thomas (Lilli), John (Cheryl) Terribile, and daughter Gina Prandato (Peter); sisters, Patricia Meara, Catherine Sullivan, and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren that she loved deeply. Mary is predeceased by her brothers, William, George, and John Collich.

Family will receive visitors at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian burial will take place Thursday at 10am at St. Anthony's Church. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
