Clarkstown Police report two vehicle accidents within a 12-hour span both resulted in serious injuries. A female pedestrian was hit while crossing Route 59 near College Road in Nanuet at about 7:10 p.m. on Monday.  Police report Dansi Nolasco-Jiminez, 34 years old of Nanuet, was taken to Nyack Hospital with serious injuries.  The driver of the vehicle was a 17-year-old female. 

Two vehicles hit head-on this morning at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Arlene Court near Route 304 in New City.  Police report two people were injured and taken to Nyack Hospital.  The New City Fire Department extricated one person from one of the vehicles.  The accident was cleared by 9 a.m.
