NEW ROCHELLE, NY — One person is dead and another was injured after a fiery crash in which a car struck a utility pole Saturday in New Rochelle. The accident occurred around 10 p.m. on Pinebrook Boulevard as the car was heading north.
The passenger of the vehicle died at the scene, and the driver was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with critical injuries, the Journal News said.
Police have not released the names pending notification of next of kin for the man who died.
