Come out and see Mattituck High School's production of “Are Teachers Human?”! This three-act comedy takes place in a high school with emphasis on the lives of the teachers, rather than the students. Action centers around the young principal, Edward Fowler, and the new English teacher, Arbutis Meadows. They are determined to be successful in their new posts, though faced with many obstacles. As director of the school play, Arbutis chooses a "poetic" tragedy written by a student in free verse, which defies understanding. Between the chaos caused by the unusual play and love triangles involving the teachers, hilarity ensues as the high school is turned upside down.
Performances are April 18th, 19th, and 20th at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $7 general admission and $5 for students and seniors, and are available at the door.
