Injuries Reported In 2-Car Southold Crash: Police

BREAKING: The crash may have been the result of a medical incident, police at the scene said.

SOUTHOLD, NY — Injuries were reported after a two-car crash on Route 48 in Southold Tuesday, police said.

According to Southold Town Police, the two-car crash, which took place at just after 5 p.m. near the corner of Youngs Avenue, may have been caused by a medical emergency involving one of the drivers, but that information was not confirmed.

Injuries were reported but were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
