Man Injured In North Fork Rollover Crash: Cops
The SUV ran off the road and careened into a telephone pole, causing it to flip; distracted driving may have caused the crash, police say.

MATTITUCK, NY — A man was hurt in a Mattituck rollover crash early Sunday, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the crash took place at 1:01 a.m. at the intersection of New York State Rt. 25 and Sunset Ave. when a 2017 BMW heading east ran off the road and hit a telephone pole. The SUV flipped and landed on its roof, spraying debris over two parked vehicles in a driveway, police said.
Police said they believe distracted driving was a factor in the crash.

The driver of the SUV was treated by the Mattituck Fire Department rescue squad for lacerations to his body and then transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center for additional treatment, police said.
