Police: Boy Rescued From Cutchogue Pool, Near Drowning

Southold Town Police and rescue workers revive an 11-year-old boy after he nearly drowned in a Cutchogue pool.

Police: Boy Rescued From Cutchogue Pool, Near Drowning

An 11-year-you Brooklyn boy was saved after almost drowning in a Cutchogue pool at a Broadwaters Road residence on Aug. 4 at 2:48 p.m., reported.

The boy was swimming with family in a backyard pool during a party and was found by family members unconscious in the pool, police said, Members attending the party immediately removed him from the pool and dialed 911. Upon realizing that the boy was not breathing and had no pulse Dr. Shahzad Khan a guest at the home, began CPR on the boy, police said.

Both the Southold Town Police and the were dispatched and responded to the scene. Upon arrival of fire and police units, Bardouille was found to be successfully resuscitated and had begun to breath on his own, police said. He was treated by members of the Cutchogue Fire Department as well as members of the Southold Town Police Department before being transported to Stonybrook University Medical Center by a Suffolk County Police Department Helicopter.
