Readers: Thanks a Million to the Plow People

Some locals might be frustrated by the plowing in parts of town, but workers have been pulling long shifts to get roads cleared, and many have wanted to extend "thank yous" to those workers.

Here's some feedback we got from North Fork Patch Facebook fans on those whose job never seems to be over during and after big snows. Feel free to comment in the boxes below, add pictures to this post and share your snow stories.

"Yes, thanks to all the folks in Town Hall, esp. the Highway Department. Also thanks to the first responders and volunteer firefighters, many of whom camped out at firehouse to be on call. You are the BEST!" — Edana McCaffery Cichanowicz

"Thank you for your hard work. Stay warm and return safely to your families." — Denise Lechler

"Thank you for all your hard work!" — Michelle N Scott Edgett

"You all did a wonderful job, Southold is great, the other towns could learn a lesson from Southold. Thank you..." — Dorothy Faeth
