Why Go: An evening of contemporary Christian music with a great social atmosphere.
Pricing: $15 admission includes concert, dessert and unlimited coffee/tea.

An evening of opera and chamber music. Come and listen to the magnificent music filling the aisles.
Pricing: $5 suggested donation.

Why Go: Come in to the Tasting Room and enjoy great wine, food and the exhibition of Abstractions from Memory & Imagination by Tom de Gruyl.


Where/When: at Grateful Paw Cat Shelter; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: Score some great loot from a selection of housewares, garden items, electronics, books, toys and more. All proceeds from the sale go directly to the care of LAP animals. Also, if you’d like to donate items to the benefit, bring them over the morning of the sale, between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Why Go: Paul Arfin, president of the not-for-profit Intergenerational Strategies, will discuss the types of volunteer work opportunities available to older adults around Long Island.
Pricing: Free.


Where/When: ; Saturday, 5 p.m. overnight to Sunday.
Why Go: Many say Relay for Life is a life-changing experience. Raise money for cancer research.
Pricing: Free to enter. Donations accepted.


Where/When: ; All day on Sunday.
Why Go: Head to the park for some great local music and art. In the event of rain, the festival will take place at Northport High School.
